I agree with the previous comment. Are we talking about the same doctor? I have had several procedures with Dr Choi. He is friendly, easy to talk to, takes time to answer questions. I have not needed to phone him with questIons or follow up on biopsies, however all other information is provider in writing at discharge and biopsy results are available on patient gateway. I trust him. The unit was running late the day that I had my procedure everyone was calm and professional.

I have met with Dr. Choi twice about my IBS and both times have found him to be compassionate and professional. He listened to everything I had to say and was more than generous with his time. In fact, each visit lasted about an hour, unheard of in today's medical world. Any e-mail that I sent to him, he responded to in a timely manner. I am very happy with this doctor/patient relationship.

I had a procedure done by this doctor which wasn't explained to me, he has no bedside manner, is rude and never called me back with the results of the procedure. It ended up that he was inaccurate in his diagnosis because I got a second opinion. Mass General, really?? This doctor should be at a low class hospital!!

I had a sigmoidoscopy with Dr. Choi and he has absolutely no bedside manner. He also inaccurately diagnosed diverticulitis which I had leaving me with blood in my stool with no explanation. This is not a GI doctor you want to go to. He never returned my phone calls and he acted extremely busy and rushed, perhaps he is to busy and has too many patients? Overall, very rude doctor, don't go to him go to someone else and get a good referral because GI issues can be a nightmare! Stay away from Dr. Choi!

I was not impressed by Dr. Choi so I did go elsewhere, I would not recommend him for a GI doctor. He didn't clearly explain to me about how to cure my GI sypmtoms.

I had a horrible experience with this GI doctor. I went to see him once because I was suffering with constipation versus incontinence and diahrrea in my thirties. He had no explanation other than nerve damage and told me I needed a colonscopy. I let him know that I had horrible hemmrhoid pain and he didn't even document that I had hemmrhoids which were totally obvious. He also asked me an extremely inappropriate question which I felt crossed boundaries. He was rude, had no bedside manner, and was not educated in his field. During the colonscopy I had a panic attack and he could have cared less, he didn't follow up with me about the biopsy of the test he took. He should not be a doctor in my opionion. Horrible at what he does. This is the type of doctor that gives doctors a bad name. He belongs in a lab somewhere dissecting rats. Don't go to him, he is not nice and doesn't know what he talking about. It doesnt' matter that he works at Mass General Hospital, they obviously… hired an imcompetent doctor! I hope he gets fired or sued! Those types eventually will because he is so arrogant!
