Dr. Michael Anthony Cicero, MD

Excellent pediatrician. He is thourough, honest, and straightforward, making it easier to share your concerns and get answers. He is also great with the kids, with an easy-going manner that helps them to trust him. He is good at explaining what is wrong and the steps that need to be taken to make a child better. I especially like that he is careful to examine a child and considers both the pros and cons of prescribing medications and whether they will benefit a child in a certain situation. This is nice, since many pediatricians will prescribe medicine/procedures just to pacify parents, despite the possible unwanted side effects.Also very convenient is the physician on-call service, which allows you to talk to a doctor after-hours if your child becomes sick.The office and nursing staff are wonderful, and it is easy to schedule appointments. When a child is sick, it is usually no problem to get an appointment that same day. The office is located next to a hospital, and so it is… easy to get labwork/x-rays done when it is needed.I highly recommend Dr. Cicero to anyone needing an excellent pediatrician.
