Dr. Michael Dean Clark, MD

Dr. Michael D. Clark is from Huntsville, Alabama and graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Alabama in 1975. He then received his medical degree from the University of Alabama in 1979. He completed a general surgery internship and residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 1984. Dr. Clark completed a fellowship in peripheral vascular surgery at Georgia Medical Center in 1985. He continued in private practice in Atlanta and was a member of the facility of his training program until 2001. Dr. Clark also served as an associate clinical professor of surgery at the Medical College of Georgia from 1995 to 2001. Dr. Clark moved his practice to the Vascular Institute of Georgia.

Dr. Clark is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery and is a board certified vascular surgeon. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery, the Atlanta Vascular Society, Medical Association of Georgia, the Medical Association of …Atlanta and Moretz Surgical Society of the College of Georgia.

Dr. Clark has been published as principle or coauthor in over 30 articles in multiple medical publications, including Vascular Surgery, The Journal of Vascular Surgery, Journal of Cardiovascular Surgery and Journal of Endovascular Surgery.

Dr. Clark is on the medical staff at Saint Joseph's Hospital, Northside Hospital and North Fulton Hospital in Atlanta. Dr. Clark has been in private practice and has lived in the Atlanta area with his family since 1985.
