Updating my review on August 17, 2025 I want to update my review. I decided to get a second opinion regarding my orthodontic treatment performed by Dr. Clarkson. This time, I went to a specialist who confirmed the same thing as the previous dentist. My treatment isn't complete. My bite is still not correct, and what's worse, some teeth have shifted incorrectly. This means I have to start a new treatment and pay the same amount of money again. Money I don't have to spare because he knows the sacrifices I had to make as a patient of this office for years. If you're thinking about getting orthodontic treatment here, think carefully. First, because Dr. Clarkson is not an orthodontist, and second, if your treatment isn't completed satisfactorily, he won't acknowledge any damages, assume responsibility, or return any of your investment. So, you'll lose out in every way.

I'll try to summarize my experience going to Dr. Clarkson office in Gainesville. The fact that they are absolutely disorganized, that they don't keep track of your appointments, and that they charge you whatever they want when they want is the least I can say. Unfortunately I just finished an orthodontic treatment were I was left unsupervised for at least a year. I thought that's how invisible treatments work. It turns out my teeth didn't turn out as promised, and what's worse I don't know if this has caused any other damage. No to mention that during the whole process the treatment I received was absolutely inconsiderate and negligent. Yes, they offered to do something but only after I mentioned that I went to visit another dentist, who explained the damage. Dr Clarkson acknowledged that he doesn't know what could have happened. I think it is obvious: there was no supervision, no care and no consideration for me or my treatment.
