Dr. Michael Cohen has been in practice since 1994. He graduated from the six-year medical education program at Boston University and received his medical degree in 1989. He completed his medical internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in 1990, his dermatology residency at UCLA Medical Center in 1993, and a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Boston Medical Center in 1994. He currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at NYU School of Medicine.

Dr. Cohen specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery for the removal of facial skin cancers and has a particular interest in facial reconstruction. He performs approximately 1,000 skin cancer surgeries a year and has performed over 10,000 surgeries in his career. He is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.

I have been going to Doctor Cohen for several years. Excellent surgeon. No scar. Good diagnostician.

He performed Mohs surgery on top of my nose n he Cut my whole nose opened n he butchered my nose. He tried to rectify by performing laser on my nose but it did nit make a difference. Iam devistated to have to walk around wit this Huge scar for the rest of my life. Be careful .

Visit was wonderful and I was done in 30 minutes. He was a very nice man and I felt very confident with him.

I have been going to Dr Cohen for Botox around three times a year since I turned 40,(over 5 years). He is so gentle..it barely hurts, and results are subtle and fabulous. (no frozen face like Nicole Kidman. ) He has also done MOHs surgery on my friend, and you'd never know he had anything done. He removed the cancer and did the repair. Staff is very nice! Susan at front desk, Nurse Lorraine, love them all!

He did a job on my ear,he saw something on my forehead and included it with mohs,what a butcher job he did.When i went to get stitches out for my ear,he just put a pair of snips and pulled.What pain and bleeding i had,then he told the nurse to give me a bandaid which would not fit in my ear.She hen then put gause
