I have been a patient of Dr. Cohen's for 23 years. He is amazing, always concerned about my well being, great bedside manner.

This is the physician that you want to manage your over-all health, if you want an informed, relaxed, thinking provider. He has an independent practice which is an important consideration for me. Multi-physician practices too frequently have business models and policies, procedures, and practices which place too little value on patient results. Pushing the envelope regarding volume, safety, cost containment, and quality to maximize profit this year is acceptable for many business plans but not for my primary health care provider. Also, somehow the reimbursement rates for the value of various specialists fell victim to a serious lack of scientific measurement when determining who provides the actual improvements in quality and quantity of our years. Primary care-they are the under appreciated mothers of our healthcare who keep things operating without our noticing and in spite of our bad choices.
