For more than 25 years, Dr. Michael Cooper has been providing gentle yet advanced treatments for healthy, beautiful smiles. He has dedicated his career to providing patients with the most comfortable and effective dental care possible. As a skilled general, cosmetic, and restorative dentist, Dr. Cooper serves Russellville, Little Rock, and other Arkansas communities with a comprehensive range of advanced dental treatments at his practice. He is proud to be in the position to help his patients look and feel their best, meeting their dental needs with care and precision.
Education and Associations
After graduating high school in 1973 from Trumann, Arkansas, Dr. Cooper attended Arkansas State University where he became a Student of Distinction. He graduated in 1979 and then went on to attend the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. As a College of Dentistry student, Dr. Cooper was selected to the Dean’s Honorary …Odontological Society and he also received a Certificate of Merit in recognition of high scholastic achievement throughout the entire dental curriculum.
Dr. Cooper founded his practice in 1984 and has been providing outstanding dental care to individuals from throughout Arkansas and the entire Southeast since that time. He is a sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), having passed the first step towards accreditation. As a volunteer for Give Back a Smile, Dr. Cooper helps restore smiles for victims of domestic abuse. He is also a supporter of the Smiles for Life Foundation, an organization that benefits children who are facing serious health conditions and educational deficiencies.
Dr. Cooper has been married to his wife Paulette for over 30 years. They have two children, Alisha Huddleston, an elementary school teacher, and Chris Cooper, a college student. In his free time Dr. Cooper is an avid baseball fan and he attends the St. Louis Cardinals Legends Camp every year.
