For years I have had 2 blood vessels on each of my eyes - one on my lower eyelid lashline and the other on the lower eyelid tear duct. I also had a scar on my upper lip vermillion border from acne as a teenager. Regarding my eyes, I went to a dermatologist in Washington DC where I live who referred me to two highly rated oculoplastic surgeons in DC. Each told me that the vessels could not be removed without irreparable damage to the tear ducts and to live with the bright red vessels. Dr. Coverman took one look at my eyes, determined they were not cancer, and confidently suggested a simple procedure with a specialized laser that would vanish the two blood vessels. He was correct. He protected my eyes with special lenses and in 30 seconds the blood vessels were gone without a trace. I have since forgotten they were there in the first place. He was also able to use a different laser on my upper lip scar (again, other doctors told me to live with it for fear of worsening the area), and the… scar is now unnoticeable. I could not be happier and while I am not a vain person, its wonderful to look in the mirror and not look straight at these imperfections.

Excellent experience

I had been employed by a plastic surgeon so was pretty sure I knew what I wanted. I got Dysport in the forehead area, and Juvaderm in those terrible lines from nose to corner of the mouth. My results were immidiate. I couldn't believe it, my husband was looking at me and ran into the elevator. Everyone from my nail tech to younger men noticed. Now you gals know whether married or not, a little flirt makes you feel pretty and younger!!! Dr.Coverman has a happy patient here!!

I first visited Dr. Coverman in 1996. He used a state of the art laser to rid my face of a fairly large area of hyperpigmentation. The treatment was successful, and sixteen years later when I had to seek treatment again for a similar issue, I tried several Dallas area doctors with no success. I made the three hour drive to Dr. Coverman and he successfully treated me again! I highly recommend him if you want to get results that last. I read some of the reviews posted on this site about him. He does have a somewhat brusque bedside manner, but I don't need someone to hold my hand and sit with me for a long time while I discuss my skincare woes. I need a doctor who can listen to my issues, tell me my options, and then fix my problem. He did all of this! I have no problem driving the three+ hours it takes to his office to seek future treatments. He has saved me thousands (yes thousands) of dollars compared to the treatments the Dallas area doctors tried on me.

Dr. Coverman is the best dermatologist in Austin! He is ethical, doesn't just want to sell you on products or procedures and diagnosed my skin condition and successfully treated it the 1st time. Amazing! After 7 years of dealing with this condition and 2 misdiagnosis's here in Austin, Dr. Coverman is a rock star in my opinion. I will tell everyone about him, thank you Dr. Coverman.
