Dr. Michael Anthony Cromeans, MD

Dr. Cromeans acted as if I was wasting his time by being in the ED, which is funny because I spent my whole visit nodding and going "uh-huh" at his circular monologues. He seemed totally unaware that he was the one extending my visit. Maybe if he got paid per word, he could retire and stop being so miserable.

Advised Dr. Cromeans that I fell. Stated, oh you don't have to make things up. Performed an about face and said "bye" sarcastically while walking away. ED Nurse was present during this interaction. Left ED with pulse of 147.

Cold, uncompassionate, and rude. When you are at your lowest and actually go to the emergency dept, this is the last person you would want to see.

I visited Dr Michael Cromeans recently in the ER. I was having intense stomach pain and have recently had issues with alcohol following the death of my daughter two months ago. Dr Cromeans had zero response to this and said that "we dont do detox here". Ok, so I ask what about my stomach? He had no response. He gave me no fluids, gave me an ativan and said go to Hooper when it opened. It was obvious that he thought I was wasting his time and couldn't wait to get me out the door He could also be heard loudly speaking completely inappropriately about other patients. Dr Michael Cromeans not only has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have seen in 55 years. He is a complete JERK. I hope he sees this review, although he is probably too arrogant to care. Avoid this doctor and this ER and go to St Vincent. The waits are longer, but at least their is actual patient care and compassion.
