Dr. Michael Robert Cummings, MD

He was interested in telling us about himself and everything He's done. When we were more worried about our sons issues. Great to have a vast background of knowledge after. When we had questions about the issues My wife felt like we were rushed along.He wasn't listening and interrupted a few times. Worried about our child made us nervous didn't seem to matter I suppose. Simply saying follow up with other Doctors also find what fits your child.

Compassion towards issues would have been more appreciated. After listening to all his credentials and history. I felt a sense of arrogance and cold. Just wasn't as helpful as we thought.

Doctor Cummings and I haven't worked together in about 4 years and almost a year ago he asked me if I wanted to work with him in his APIC program I was like YES!!! and before that I didn't have a psychiatrist for 6 months and I was always in the hospital we worked together for along time but then stopped I didn't have nothing we started working and I moved into a group home and he helped make that happen I was very sick when I didn't have a doctor when I started working with him I was and have been in the hospital less I never thought id get help again after my old psychiatrist left me I never thought it would be Dr cummings I thought It would be no one. I still have to work on a lot more but being out of the hospital less than being there everyday like I was is an awesome feeling sometimes I don't always agree with him but he works with me on medications he wont put me on medications that will make me gain weight or sleep all day long he is very honest and I'm shocked he gave me so… many chances to still work with me even when I don't try he never gives up I'm just thankful he is taking care of my case and making me a better person in the community in to deal with my mental illnesses and developmental disabilities I would have given up if I didn't have his help his APIC program is awesome he really cares people may say he doesn't but he really does he just doesn't deal with peoples excuses when they say they cant try because he always has faith and hope in his patients and that's what every doctor needs and he has it!!!!!! DOCTOR CUMMINGS THANKS FOR SAVING ME FROM A DISASTER AND TURNING IT INTO DREAMS I STILL HAVE A LOT TO WORK ON BUT IVE BEEN DOING SO MUCH BETTER SINCE IVE BEEN UNDER YOUR CARE!!!!!!! Anyone reading this should recommend dr cummings he is one of a kind caring an trusting!

Doctor Cummings knows me for a lot of years we worked good together... He always understands me and know I went through a lot of stuff as an adolescent and still he is very strict and doesn't put up with behaviors he nips it right then and there... I wish he still was my doctor because we made a perfessional bond and he really understood why I did some of the things I did he knew I was in a tough spot... He tells it like it is... He is very good at diagnosing mental illnesses so that mean he is really smart not stupid like some psychiatrist GOOD JOB!!!! Thanks for all of the help at ECMC and Mid Erie!!!!! YOU ROCK YOU DA MAN
