A native Texan, Dr. Michael Denbar graduated from the University of Texas, Dental School and received his DDS in 1972. After serving in the United States Navy for twenty years and then as an associate in a local dental practice for nine years, Dr. Denbar began his private practice in Chesapeake in 1991.
Dr. Denbar is proud that compassionate care is the hallmark of his practice and attention to each patient's well being motivates his team. Our patient's comfort is paramount at Gentle Family Dentistry. Considered by his patients to have a sensitive, personable, and attentive chair side manner that even the most anxious find reassuring, Dr. Denbar is committed to addressing his patient's concerns while providing expert dental care.
