Dr. Michael Joseph Digiovanna, DO

This used to be a small, private, family-friendly doctor's office in Massapequa. It has since turned into a 2nd rate, 3rd world Medicaid mill. The front office is awful, with terrible service. And good luck actually seeing, or even speaking with, an actual doctor. It's PA'S or nothing. If you have actual insurance, and any expectation of a professional medical experience, this is not the place for you or your family..

Dr. Michael Di Giovanna is a highly regarded, gifted and knowledgeable Doctor of Osteopathy. The Di Giovanna osteopathy text book, used in osteopathic medical schools, is foundational, and my go-to source for understanding this complex and very effective holistic treatment. Dr. Di Giovanna also trains amazing residents who do a superb job in this office, under his supervision. Omid is an incredibly skilled resident who gave me a spectacular adjustment. I am most grateful and consider myself blessed that Dr. Di Giovanna takes my insurance, as his osteopathic manipulations are truly transformational. I have been treated with kindness and courtesy by his office staff. Thank you Dr. Di Giovanna and staff!

Michael Digiovana is a fraud. I went to this lying piece of crap because I was suffering from numerous symptoms associated with exposure to wireless radiation. My illness is called "microwave illness" and can easily be found in Merriam Webster's dictionary and many other places, yet this fraudulent doctor denied that it exists. And instead, he labeled me as psychologically unstable. This was after spending less than 10 minutes with me (though I waited close to an hour to see him). The man is a despicable pig that should have his medical license withdrawn. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He is absolutely not to be trusted.

Dr. Michael DiGiovanna may be a good doctor however he does NOT have a competent staff. The front desk staff are not only rude but completely useless and uncaring. There is no follow-up on medical care& it is difficult to get your test results. Dr. Mike has never once returned my call. The Billing Dept. is absolutely unprofessional and inadequate at their job. I did not receive a bill from their office for 18 months & when I did, it was a huge amount. They have stated that they did not received payment & yet they have processed my applied Debits. Billing then proceeded to tell me that they are sending me to Collections. They honestly did not care. I certainly would not recommend Dr. Michael DiGiovanna’s office.

This office is terrible Wait times are ridiculous Then when you need questions answered they never call back. Waiting on test results for my elderly dad and each time I call and speak to someone they say will get call back with 1 hour. Doesnt matter how many messages are left they never return a call.

My Husband and I have been going to him sents the (80)s.in the beginning, he was good. The staff changes hands so many times they didn't know us they were very nasty when you call up . you never get . Doctor Mike he never available you get his nurse practitioner. they are good if you have a minor problem. they don't know you. When they are finished examine you they say you have to Dr Mike.My husband was very sick last year and he wasn't there for us. So I have a New Doctor now. Sorry for leaving you.

this office is a great place. The front staff treated me with great respect and very caring. I would recommend this office to anyone. The change in staff and office manager was a great thing.

Stay clear of this lousy doctor and office. The worst I've ever been to. A big baby and his staff is worthless. Staff is dissatisfied and so is patients. Always turmoil. Long waits and lousy service. He just doesn't seem to care. Go anywhere else. Save your time. Should be dissaplined. Trust what I say. Important things he should tell he leaves out. I personally think he has a mental issue.

Good medical care and office staff go hand in hand. At 'Dr Mikes' office you rarely get one of these and never get both. Unprofessional is the nicest word I can find to describe 98 percent of his staff. If you do go , see the PA Sandy she is the only one worth anything there. Personally I don't know how this office has been able to hold on to her for so long. Bottom line... look elsewhere for health care. Because a healthcare professional should be exactly that. Caring and Professional!

I've been going to this office for 11 years and frankly I'm SICK of the girls behind the desk. It answering the phones putting you on hold for 10 mins or just not picking up with dr mikes too cheap to hire full staff or there related and can't get fired ...after waiting 2 hours on a Saturday I get the PA who makes me wait another 30 mins to get in THEN leaves my room to go to another in the middle of my appointment I had no problem telling her how unbelievably rude it was on top of the fact that I totaled out at 3 hours at my drs that I don't go to often (obvious reasons) I had 3 of my kids with me they where hysterical and hungry and I was rushed out without even knowing what was prescribed to me and rushed out the door! I was so upset that I called and left a message for dr Mike saying that I was not coming back and why and he never even called to apologize so SEE YEA my time and my babies time is worth more then that shame on that whole office
