Dr. Michael Edwin Dillehay, MD

I have just recently been going with my parents to some of their appts. Neither are in the best of health. The good Dr. gave them a nutritional drink, because he knew they were going straight from there to see their son in the nursing home. Thank you for caring beyond.

He is excepting new patients and I made a great decision. Highly recommend!

I found Dr. Dillehay to be an exceptional physician. Great staff. Easy to make an appointment. Very attentive to his patient's needs. I have referred several people to him.

Dr. Dillehay is such a great Doctor to have. His office staff is also so wonderful. You are not just a patient. They actually remember who you are! It is easy to get an appointment, wait time is minimal, and Dr. Dillehay is excellent. He takes the time to listen to you, is very compassionate, and is very intelligent. I had been looking for a good dr. for years and either the doctor wasn't to my standards or the office staff was horrible. This place is excellent and i'm glad my search is over!

I was his patient until just recently. Every visit to his office over the last few years became more and more terrifying. It got to the point I was scared to death to even walk threw his door. He has the bedside manner of a pit viper. He seems to be a good doctor but you are not allowed to make any decisions about your own care. It is either his way or he will boot you out of his office and that is that. You cannot ask any questions that he does not agree with 100% , if you do you are cut off mid sentence. Very rude and upsetting. Stay away from him he is in my opinion a very uncaring and unprofessional Doctor. You and your family are worth better. If I could I would give him 0 stars.

Dr. Dillehay is an insightful and gifted diagnostician, but occasionally rude with no apparent cause. Each time I went to see, I never knew what version of him I was going to get. I ALWAYS got a great physician, but not always a nice person. His office staff was terribly uncaring and inefficient - maybe that's why such a seemingly great person and Doctor occasionally comes off so harshly. I felt childish for coming away from some visits or phone calls with hurt feelings - just not a good fit, but others may feel otherwise.

I don't like the way he talk to me. Looking for another doctor. Hope not to see him again

I have been seeing Dr. Dillehay for close to 4 years now. I was a patient in his office when I was first diagnosed with diabetes. I've never met a doctor that truly cared for my well being and motivated me to be healthier until I walked into his office. The doctor takes all of the time that is needed to address your concerns. His staff is wonderful and always greets you with a smile. There is no better doctor in all of Lake Mary.

I wish I could rate him and his staff lower. My father was relased from the hospital with the condition that he would have an open MRI done with a refferal from his primary care physician. I contacted the office at 8 a.m before they even opened and left a detailed message of the situation, at 9 a.m. I contacted the office and informed them that the MRI facility was holding the only open spot for my father. After 3 hours of waiting 1 in the lobby of Dr. Dillehay's office the staff asked me to leave after signing a release. Then called me shortly after to inform me that they would not write a referral to return him to the hospital that could not perform the testing. We ended up asking one of his other Dr.s and easily was given a referral within a hour of asking. His staff was rude, uncaring and unperfesional. I hope this was not the case with Dr. Dillehay as well, but I was never allowed to speak with him. I find it hard to belive how little regard some people have for others well being.… I only wish that I could find more ways of warning people about Dr. Dillehay.

Dr. D Has the bedside manner of a Saint. He always takes time to listen and really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone. He has been very good with our family!
