Dr. Michael Francis Dillingham, MD

Brilliant surgeon (and his team) that honestly cared about their patients. Ski racing in Sun Valley, Ohio, when taking a fall. Unfortunceitally, only one ski released, the other ski did not. The fall caused my entire R knee to end up facing the back of my leg, ripping all ligaments and destroying both sides of my meniscus. Ex-Olympic skiers/ that happened to be in this pay-to-play race, and knowing I needed the best orthopedic surgeon — along with a Sun Valley surgeon recommended Dr. Micheal Dillingham, who was the 49ers' appointed surgeon at the time. I was flown by private jet to Dr. Dillingham's office. I thought I would be meeting a Super-Star Surgeon with an ego the size of a football field. Just the opposite, a ten-star rating would be more appropriate.
