Dr. Michael Joseph Dimeo, MD

My husband is his patient and he has helped us a lot.

I switched to Dr Dimeo after using a lung doctor in Knoxville for years. My sister had told me how pleased she was with him. I have severe COPD. I had my first visit with the usual lung function test. My second visit, Dr Dimeo recommended a cat scan. This scan showed a spot on my lungs. He then sent me for a PET scan. I have a tumor on one of my lungs. It is on a small area. He caught this early. My office visits to my old lung doctor consisted of going in and getting refills on my medicine and sent out the door. Dr Dimeo took the time to explain my options and seemed to care about more than just the money. I thank god I found this doctor.

When I left Denver and National Jewish I had resigned my self to good pulmonary care. Well I was wrong Dr. DiMeo has been excellent. He is so outstanding I would most certainly be in the ground today if I had been seeing any other pulmonologist. You can't find a better pulmonologist so if you have lung problems see him!

Dr. Dimeo has really been wonderful with my mother. She is very happy with him. He is really careful and courteous with his patients.

Office staff was wonderful, very professionalwithout losing genuine concern with testing, diagnosing and treating my illnesses

I never thought I'd find a good doctor in Tennessee. Well, I did and he's real good. He wants to actual medicine, actual science, kind of like House! You won't find many like him around here.
