Dr. Michael Paul Dohm

I saw him for a very specific procedure which he agreed to do and also assured me it would most likely be the last surgery I ever needed.... He then decided to do a different procedure and I ended up paying for a surgery I did not want or went to him for! I am still in rehab even trying to get ANY use of my quad back... I have sent a pre op letter to no avail - he will not listen to what you have to say as "he knows best".... Avoid if you want any input and a surgeon that actually listens to you as a human being!

I have seen Dr. Dohm for a couple of years for hip and knee pain. A previously repaired knee had had become a problem and after managing the issues for several years I had to have a partial knee replacement. The post operative pain is a pain, but that being said I did not expect a painless operation. The team at Banner/U of A is outstanding in their care.

I have seen Dr. Dohm 3 times for knee pain and recently for him to look at MRI results. He has always been courteous and nice. However he has a medical student Harry who was rude and said to me that the MRI was a waste of money and then went on to tell my that the medication I was taking (prescribed by my PCP) was totally unnecessary. There is also a nice way to tell an older person they need to loose weight and of course that is necessary for knee pain. There are variables as to why weight may or may not come off due to medications etc.

My dogs vet is better than he will ever be he lies told me after my opperion it was OK after 2 years wound has not healed and hardware is coming apart just had hardware rremoved all screws were lose or out now I have a very bad bone infection major blood clots l wwouldn't send my dog to him he should have his license revoked

Dr Dohm is exceptionally available for all patients questions and concerns. Best doctor patient relationship I've ever had.

He was excellent in all respects. Highly recommend.

This doctor is a joke. His smile what's the got to do with his sadistic bad bed side manners if you want you knee fixed and you LOVE pain then this is the doctor for you. If he even remembers who you are

First time meeting Dr. Dohm. He walked into the room and his smile immediately put me at east. He is straight forward and to the point. Looking forward to having him as my Orthopedic Surgeon for both knees. He knows his stuff and I'm confident in his knowledge :)

This is a very condescending doctor. Once my husband and I waited three hours to see him. He told us we were lucky to have medical care and that it could be worst like in third world country's. I left there crying.
