Doesn’t care about the patient..will have you constantly coming back to hit up insurance for visits. Is NOT concerned about the patient. His nurse practitioner left the practice and she was great! If you must go to north country..see Dr. Drake, not Dotti.

Nothing good can be said about this uncaring so called "Christian" doctor.

Someone should look into this doctor for his over prescribing of pills.

Ladies at the front are condescending and dismissive. How do desk workers get to like this? Avoid.

I love North Country and especially my doctor, Dottie, and his PA, Carlotta. They are so nice, helpful, and both are very thorough. I've never hesitated to ask a question and I know I'm in good hands with them. I trust them to give me the right advice. I love the labs on site, everyone has been very good at their speciality.

This guy is pill crazy and is more interested in his $.... Not a good doc if your are actually concerned with your health

Dr. Dorrie has been our family physician for many years. About 8 years my husband went for his regular check up and had his EKG by his assistant. Withiin minutes Dr. Dottie was by his side and told made him an appointment with a Cardiologist and he needed to go immediately. The cardiologist was only a few minutes away and they did the MRI immediately. My husband only had 10% flow thru his heart valve and needed a valve replacement immedately. Within a few days my husband had his heart surgery with the best hear surgeon in the area. I am thankful for Dr. Dottie and his quick reaction and also his has very good referral doctors. We would recommen his for any time and anything. It's hard to get an appoointment with him but there are other good doctors in his practice.

Office staff rude and condescending. They make you schedule a follow up as much as they can so they can get more money and wont tell u anything until u do so. Inaccurate diagnosis more than once. Look for ways to "see you back there". When u do go in they dont take care of everything at once which means more money and time off work.

Donâ??t be fooled by new, shiny things. Impressive Technology but no ability to read their own notes, lab results and specialist reports that they request and collected. I have been trying to make this office work for the almost three years. It has been increasingly impossible to get appointments with real MDs. The Nurse Practitioners are pretty good for basic things like kids ear aches. Lately though you canâ??t even get into a NP for flu or small problems with your kids. When I finally decided to wait the three weeks to get in to see Dr. Dottie to help review and coordinate a few problems that were showing up in my lab work, xrays and specialist his NPs referred me to, it was a disaster. I left crying. They referred me out to a cardiologist, physical therapist and now a neurologist for cheast pains, arm tingling, neck pain etc. Previously I had been referred out to an endocrinologist with thyroid problems. While everyone there uses a computer and types in a ton of notes, I had to… keep helping him go back in the computer to see the tests they ordered and what the specialists were reporting. Keep in mind this was only over a 3 week period. He was so uncaring. He actually took my list of things I brought to talk about, moved it to a chair and never let me go back to it. When you have lab results and x-rays come back that are not perfect it would have been nice to hear from an MD if these things are serious or not. Someone who is supposed to be looking at your health overall should coordinate things; or so I thought. The office staff is impossible. Getting call backs is non-existent; various attempts over 2+ years. In the beginning I was actually told D.Os â??do not return phone callsâ?? after I had left two messages to be called. Recently I actually was on hold for 15 minutes, being passed around from person to person with my insurance company on the line. I was trying to clear up contradictory information from their office and insurance. They knew my name, knew insurance was on the line and had my file up. They finally disconnected us and when I tried to call back with the insurance company - it was lunch time. No call back or attempt to reach me back of their own initiative. Then when I called back after their lunch time and could not get placed to the last person they said I should talk to, into the voicemail I went AGAIN. I requested a call back and ultimately ended up going in person to straighten it out. They are real sticklers about not telling you anything without follow up appointments. Now that I have had and paid for multiple follow-ups on the same issue, I still canâ??t talk to a live person on the phone to help me clear the misinformation I continually receive from them. I have resorted to going in person to the nurses window to try and get information and find out if the test results are even in. Finding a new general practice doctor can be an ordeal but it is finally worth it to leave.

I have been seeing Dr. Michael Dotti for almost as long as he has been practicing family medicine. As one patient said, Dr. Dotti is above all compassionate. He is caring and, when asked, will take the time to give a complete explanation. But his office is busy, and he does get backed up when someone comes in with an emergency. I'm sure no one is turned away. So, if your issue is not urgent, don't be upset if they have to slip someone in ahead of you. Besides, there are some wonderful Nurse Practitioners in this office and they all are capable of administering to your needs. I do not particularly care for the voice response system, but I did get through to a live person recently when I needed to talk to someone. And now I understand that they are adding a fine Internet "patient portal" which should improve communication.
