My husband and I have always been treated with respect and kindness by Dr. Duperret and his wonderful staff. I was very ill and I was seen right away.He was very concerned and caring which is comforting especially when you are ill. I am not the best patient,but he has shown great kindness and patience( especially when you are given news you do not want to hear).He is willing to discuss options with you for other alternative forms of treatment. My wife and I were blessed enough to be accepted as new patients by Dr. Duperret when we moved to Tucson 8 years ago.He's very smart and diagnoses things quickly and accurately, he's very friendly, if you call in the morning you get an appointment that day 98% of the time, he calls you personally to go over routine bloodwork results(normal or abnormal), if you call his office, he will personally call you that afternoon to answer any question you might have, if you are hospitalized, he actually makes morning rounds and attends to you himself while you are hospitalized (only at St. Mary's)- I think he is the only doctor in Tucson who still does this. Most of the time you are taken care of by a "hospitalist" who cannot possibly get to know you quickly enough to give optimal care.This is crazy good medical care- get in if you can. He limits his patients so he can keep his customer service level so high.
