Dr. Ebright is not only an amazing surgeon but he also explains everything to his patients. He answers your questions and spends as much time with you as you need. The most personable and professional surgeon I've met!

My operation was a total success.I met with him 3 times before the operation and 2 times afterward. I can't think of anything that wasn't perfect.

I was referred to doctor Ebright by my primary care dr. It was funny because he was coming from surgery and I was on my way to his offfice for the first time. I was mumble something about going to see him and he was like "hey I am Dr. Ebright running late from surgery." it was to funny because he was such a relaxing fellow to chat with that I didn't know he would become my favorite Doctor. He has such a caring team Lauren Drysdale his right hand and Shantell Davis his left hand. Lol, he and his team are the best they show each and every patient nothing but the utmost respect and attention to there needs and I truly love him and his team!!

After suffering from gastro/reflux issues for a number of years, I was determined to get to the root of the problem, rather than continuing to take medication. I met with Dr. Ebright last May. A number of tests revealed I had a congenital hiatal hernia - which Dr. Ebright said could be remedied by elective surgery. Shortly after Labor Day, Dr. Ebright repaired the hernia. I am recovering well; with no further issues of reflux. Dr. Ebright, his staff and everyone who cared for me at Stamford Hospital were kind, amazing health care professionals. For anyone suffering from reflux, I recommend making an appointment to see Dr. Ebright.

My time spent with Dr Ebright has been one of the most amazing experience in my life. He is one of the most compassionate Dr I have ever come in contact with . He let's you know he cares about your well being, and that he is there for you. He will answer any question you may have. He gives you confidence in him. And makes you feel very comfortable in knowing you are in good hands .I can't say enough about Dr. Ebright because in my eyes he the BEST.

My husband had surgery last week with Dr. Michael Ebright. The minute he walked into the room for our first consultation, I was so impressed with his genuine, warm and engaging personality. We felt so comfortable going forward with the surgery knowing that Roy was not only in capable hands, but that Dr. Ebright sincerely cared about his welfare. He was readily available for Roy post surgery and made sure that he communicated very clearly about his healing and recuperation. It is so important for a Surgeon to be skilled and brilliant and also so essential to have a kind and compassionate heart. I feel that Dr. Ebright is a total "rock star" and one in a million! Dr Michael Ebright entered my life when I had a bike accident that surprisingly revealed I had Lung Cancer. It was a devastating and terrifying time. With compassion and confidence he helped me navigate this challenging path. He is a remarkably gifted surgeon and an extraordinary human being who I have had the great fortune to have as my doctor.

From the time I first met Ebright, 4 mos prior to thoracic surgery, he never bothered to meet with, or explain things, tho I specifically asked to speak with him PRIOR to surgery. That didn't happen. Neither did he come see me the 3 days I was hospitalized. Directly after surgery, I had incongruous, black bruises on the back of my arms & shoulders: How? Why? I lost my voice & have been in rehab 3 mos trying to regain it: had a surgical wound that STAYED open 6 wks (ER addressed it), have not been able to breathe normal since & had intense chest pain & also from 4 surgical wounds. Nothing was explained as to what could happen & Ebright wasn't concerned about what DID happen. When I phoned after surgery to tell them of my problems, all they said was, "You sound fine to me"... I was NOT fine & it took 3 mos to recover. To this day, STILL can't breathe easily/normal & my voice was never the same again. Wrote to the Head of Surgery about him--can never recommend him to anyone!

I recently had surgery with Michael for a giant hiatal hernia at Stamford Hospital. he is a kind, thoughtful, caring and excellent surgeon as is his OR team and Lauren. He truly cared for and about my well being. I might also add that Stamford Hospital is excellent and my one night stay as a patient was truly remarkable. Excellent care from all of my caregivers there.
