Dr. Michael Edward Edenfield

Dr.Edenfield completed his under-graduate studies in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Longwood University and received his D.D.S. from the Howard University College of Dentistry in 1998. Upon completion of his academic work, Dr. Edenfield returned to Virginia Beach to practice dentistry because of his personal and family connections to the area. He first moved to Virginia Beach in 1975 when his father, a career U.S. Navy sailor was reassigned.
Dr. Edenfield has a strong interest in the art of Endodontics (Root Canals) and has devoted a very significant number of hours completing continuing education courses and seminars specifically related to this specialty.  In addition to his interest in Endodontics, Dr. Edenfield has become certified in the highly specialized area of Intravenous (IV) and Oral Sedation.  He completed the University of Southern California sedation technique course conducted by Dr. Stanley Malamed, one of the foremost international authorities on dental …anesthesiology.  Dr. Edenfield’s professional affiliations and memberships include:
