Summary
I practice general adult psychiatry including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar illness and many other problems. I am also interested in working with the elderly, including assessment of memory problems. I am subspecialty trained in geriatric psychiatry. I like to make sure patients understand the assessment and treatment process and encourage questions and patient involvement in that process. My goal is to maximize patients' sense of well-being and daily functioning. I am married and have 2 great cats and a perky Border Collie. I enjoy long distance running, often combining it with travel to a destination marathon.
