Dr. Michael Robert Ellis, MD

This is the worst doctor's office I have ever experienced. Dr. Ellis performed a procedure on my son and called him for a diagnosis - he told him he has a life threatening condition and needs surgery ASAP or he can bleed to death. He has many other health issues requiring this specialist's care. Dr. Ellis advised his office staff would contact my son that day to schedule the procedure he needs. His office staff did not call. I have called several times and the earliest Dr. Ellis can talk to him on a tele-call is 6 weeks out. I called several times explaining to the staff - what doctor Ellis said, they said my son cannot get in any sooner to take him to the emergency room. I called again today and was told the Office Manager discharged my son as a patient because I did not take him to the Emergency Room. I called last week and the nurse hung up on me and said she already talked to me. This is the worst staff and doctor and Office Manager and nurse I have every dealt with. They are… uncaring, unprofessional, and apparently do not care if a patient bleeds to death by their actions. He has an appt. with Dr. Ellis in a month and I find out today - he has no appt. my son has been discharged because I did not take him to the emergency room. When were they going to tell us? We would not have known if I had not called. Pitiful excuse for an office and doctor. Please do not take your loved ones or go to this doctor or office.

Dr Ellis has got way too many patients and he doesn't spend any amount ot time with you because of this & you always have a long wait to see him. You are just rushed in & out. I would not recommend him.
