Dr. Evans graduated from Texas A&M in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. He served in the United States Air Force for eight years, and was honorably discharged in 1983. During his tenure, he earned his Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling from Central Michigan University.
Dr. Evans earned his Dental Degree in 1987 …from Baylor College of Dentistry, in Dallas Texas, and went on to earn his Periodontal Degree, and a Master’s of Science Degree, at the University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center from 1987 – 1990. Dr. Evans has lived in Sarasota since 1990, and has been married to his wife Lisa, since 1984.
Dr. Evans is active in advancing dental knowledge and serving the dental community. He is active in dental politics, having served as President of the Sarasota County Dental Association, and President of the West Coast Dental District Association, covering Citrus County, to Collier County. Dr. Evans is also an active member of eight local and national dental organizations.
Dr. Evans is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and he and his staff are all CPR qualified. Dr. Evans and his well trained staff attend many continuing educational classes, ensuring that you receive the most comprehensive and advanced periodontal care possible.
