Dr. Michael H. Fattal

I recently had my septum repaired by Dr. Fattal, and for the first time in my life, I can finally breathe from my nose with ease. What a difference the surgery has made for me! Not only do I sleep better at night, but I now feel like I have much more energy during the day. Dr. Fattal is smart, charismatic, and funny, but what I like best about him is his no-nonsense approach to medicine. I'm in my early forties, and after years of advice from other doctors, he's the first to diagnose my deviated septum and explain the benefits of surgery. He is a great doctor, and I'm so grateful to reap the benefits of his expertise.

The staff was very professional and polite. Dr. Fattal was terrific. Very focused on the patient and again polite and professional. Bring a sweater or light jacket it's cold in there. My appointment was right on time.

Very cold, unapproachable, intimidating, and rude. Did not listen to me at all. The visit was rushed - did not last more than 10 min and cost $800. Now I know why it was so easy to make an appointment with this doctor. The office staff was very nice and professional.

I had high hopes for Dr Fattal. given the reviews. I went in for a breathing and snoring problem. His manner was rather indifferent and matter of fact, very business like. I happened to mention that my right ear was bothering me so he took a quick look with the otoscope. He made no comment about it. He suggested a sleep study be done which required a referral to another doctor. The reasons he checked off on the referral are not symptoms I complained about and he left off the ones I did. I guess he was not really listening to me. The most disturbing of all is that when I received his bill, he had charged me for a procedure, waxball removal, which he never performed. I complained to his office about this and was told that it was in his records that he had indeed stuck a hook in my ear to pull the waxball out. Therefore, the procedure was done and I probably didn't notice it at the time. Seriously? I've this done before and I know when a doctor is putting a hook in my ear, not pleasant.… Basically, they are calling me a liar. I will never, ever deal with this office again. I plan on appealing this with Mass Eye and Ear. Beware of fraudulent claims made by this doctor.
