Dr. Michael J Fialho, MD

Dr Fiahlo is great, his assistant however is awful!!! She is uncaring,unhelpful,abrupt and just does not need to be in a profession that requires a certain amount of compassion and caring! I am so upset right now, I have been going to Dr Fiahlo for a while now for a serious condition and the stress she causes does not help at all.It's unfortunate but I feel that all this office cares about is money, money, money!!!!! I am seriously thinking about changing dr's because of this terrible asistant and unfriendly office staff!!

I have been seeing Dr. Fialho for almost 6 years. He is by far the best doctor I have ever had. I do not know what some of the other reviewers were talking about. I have never, never, never seen him be anything but professional and caring. He does require follow up visits for major test or procedures. However, that is true of any doctor thanks to our crazy malpractice policies in America and the fact that he is very thorough. I have several medical conditions that require very close observation and in the 10 years and roughly 20 different doctors since I was diagnosed, only Dr. Fialho has been able to coordinate my care. He is a wonderful person as well as doctor. He cares about his patients and will spend as much time as needed discussing anything and everything. His office staff has always been professional, helpful and very kind. If you are looking for a doctor that will spend time with you, listen to you and then provide you with the best medical advice you can get, go… to Dr. Fialho. I am so sure of this; I have switched every family member that I can to his office.

fIRST OFF,On the application he wants to know what race you are and where you are from. Then he proceeds to tell you off if you have too much inforamtion for him to absorb..If you have a bad reaction to any drug forget it.. He won't believe you even if you have had it for years, I am 73. He is unkind uncaring and arrogant, and would rather act like a person is crazy.. if they do not approve of his false information..God.. he is horrible.Got an awful lot to learn, and I guess he will learn it the hard way..!!

I have found Dr. Fialho to be extremely thorough in his care of me. He has responded quickly when he received troublesome test results. He allows me the time I need to express my health concerns and responds to each one in language that I understand. He has effectively addressed the rare problems I've had with staff. He maintains a complete and up to date understanding of drugs and interactions. He manages my rather complex medical situation with great competence. I would (and do) recommend him without reservation.

Despite an in-office discussion about treatment options for a non-life threatening condition, this doctor refused to provide me with my own followup test results on the phone, requiring me to come into the office and charged me $85 for a 15 min. repeat discussion about options. He irresponsibly gave me the option about starting medicine, though an approved course of treatment was to continue to monitor the situation. Once again 3 mos. later, the doctor refused to give me my test results on the phone and made me come in again. His nurse is rude and does not return calls.
