I have been a patient of Dr. Forsthoefel for over 30 years and he has taken great care of me. He goes the extra mile to ensure that his patients receive quality health care and he always shows a genuine concern for the well-being of his patients. He was also my Dad's doctor and he made sure that his end-of-life care made his transition a smooth and comfortable one. He was the one who saw him when he came in for office visits after his terminal diagnosis was revealed. He treated him like a friend. Hopefully, he will remain as my primary physician for the rest of my natural life.

Absolutely the worst physician I have ever seen and his thought pattern is archaic and old. He doesn't even know the latest medicines and he can't manage diabetes at all. He has an attitude and the worst bedside manner. He shouldn't be allowed to even practice on a dog, everyone deserves better than him.

Mike is a naturally friendly individual with a large smile and a hearty laugh that can be heard down the halls! On top of his outgoing personality is a doctor who knows his profession inside and out. When it comes to his diagnosis and handling of your medical issues, he is calm, professional and has the confidence that comes with many years of experience. He listens well and will spend the extra time with you to hear you out. This may explain the wait while in the exam room! He is genuinely interested in each of his patients and will take the time to chat with them about their families and work. I've been a patient for over 30 years, I'm just worried who will take his place when he decides to retire!

Bad bedside manner, rude and condescending

Any doctor that will prescribe an antibiotic over the phone without even seeing a patient is an imbecile! I cannot get over the fact that my mother called and was able to have an over the phone diagnosis and prescribe her, not an light antibiotic but, one of the heaviest antibiotics out there! Now she is still sick and has been taking the darn Zpack for 3-4 days. Michael W. Forsthoefel has been my parents' doctor for as long as I can remember. I say it's time for them to go to someone who will actually put there "HEALTH" first. This type of irresponsible health care should not be tolerated. If you are reading this and are looking for a doctor, please do the right thing and look elsewhere. Just because a doctor has a name that's well known isn't always a good thing. On top of that, when is the last time any of his patients have gone in and actually seen him and not one of his assistants? When you get to big that you cannot give adequate care, it's time to go back to more personal… approaches and start actually providing people with health care instead of over the phone diagnosis followed by crazy unnecessary prescriptions!
