Dr. Michael Frank Frampton, MD

I did not have a good first experience with Dr Frampton. Dr Frampton was arrogant, extremely blunt and rude and had no compassion in our first session. I have been to other therapist but have never experienced such rude behavior to a patient. I came in happy and in a good mood and left feeling degraded and very frustrated because of his attitude and rude comments. When I told him he was rather blunt and demeaning, he casually and proudly said this was just his way and I had to deal with it. Of course, I was too sensitive in his opinion. I believe he was insensitive. When you are hurting and explain you've had anxiety with OCD and depression, you really don't need to be belittled. I've heard he is especially belittling to women. This was evident in my case. He insulted me in the session because I was "too detailed" in my explanation of my past and my concerns. I guess I assumed that a good psychiatrist would want to know details about you to better care and treat you. He added that… he was just that way and he didn't care what people thought about him. I left very disturbed and will not go back to him. Who wants to go to a psychiatrist who makes you feel worse about yourself.

You get a $125 fee if you're late the slightest bit, which doesn't help because they call and remind you when your appointment is ONLY THE FIRST TIME. After that you have to remember the appointment schedule. To me it seems like a trick because you expect a reminder call and never receive one.

Dr. Frampton is all about the money.

I would not recommend Dr. Frampton to anyone. He made me feel very weird and uncomfortable in his office. I am told he treats his staff the same way, especially the women. Although I didn't hear very good things about his practice I decided to try anyway and NOW regret I wasted time and money.

Between Dr. Frampton and Gerald Lewis , they run people through their office like a herd of animals. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Frampton is the best pdoc I have ever been too! I have been to many that were just awful! I have been sick for 2.5 years and he is so caring and has excellent listening skills which helps him to make a correct diagnosis. He does not believe in over medicating which was a big part of my problem from other pdocs. He is down to earth not arrogant like the others. Thank you so much for helping me to get better!

Dr. Frampton is an outstanding physician in his field of psychiatry. He talks to his patients with a lot of respect and he is very down to earth. If you are looking for a psychiatrist that is personable and easy to talk with, try Dr. Frampton. He is a very likeable man.
