Dr. Michael Reed Francis, DO

Unless you just need medication, I would not recommend you go to Dr. Francis. I was surprised at how little he knew about health and the human body. I came in with symptoms several times. He was ready to write a prescription and was trying to probe me for things that he could but that wasn't what I needed. He needs to look outside the box and learn about how to heal the human body instead of mask the symptoms with a pill. He kept saying that he didn't know anything about this and that and wasn't willing to order the obvious test that I needed. He said that I looked healthy and he didn't think anything was wrong with me. I thought that was very very strange! He argued with me a lot and was actually insulting in a polite manner. I will not be going back to him. There are better doctors out there.

As a new patient, I was very impressed. Dr. Francis spent nearly two hours with me going over my medical history. I felt he was very thorough and knowledgeable.

He is rude, no bedside manner. Filled my prescriptions at too high of a dosage then told me I was wrong and was sure I didn't even know what the pill looked like, he even pulled up some pictures and was shocked when I pointed to the right pill. I got proof from my pharmacy that he did in fact call in the dose I was taking and I wasnt crazy or stupid.

I have been going to Dr. Frances for about 7 years and he is terrific. I am not as diligent about controlling my sugars as I should be but he never makes me feel guilty, he is just positive and encouraging. I highly recommend him!

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Francis. He has always been extremely thorough in answering any and all questions. He is very prompt to respond to his online message service that he has. He is always pleasant and one thing I really like, he isn't quick to jump to "take a pill". He likes to get to the root of the problem instead of "slapping on a band aid".

Liked him well enough that my whole family now goes to him. He is caring, knowledgable and has great follow up. He does not push medicine which is a huge plus!!!

He rushed with my appointment and dictated what we will talk about and refused to answer my questions about nutrition and diet. Refused to look at my chart I prepared of my past daily vitals and diet. Instead gave me his chart to bring back next appointment, then he will look at that.Next visit, made a rude remark on how shocked he was that I even followed his directions!
