Dr. Michael Walter Frank

I was scheduled for a replacement of two animal tissue heart valves. At the last minute, Franks was substituted as my surgeon and sent a nurse out with a consent to use mechanical valves. She scared my wife and told us that they would only be used if normal tissue valves could not be used. I never saw the guy so I never was told why standard valves couldn't be used.

Top notch heart surgeon. Cares about his patients. Saved my life.

After your surgery Dr. Frank disappears. G-d forbid you have a problem after you go home from hospital he will never call you back. He must of been a magician in his past life. If he doesn't care to communicate with his patients and have very little compassion he should not be a doctor. Oh yes forvot to mention that he is snooty and believes that he is better than everyone else. I believe in karma how you treat people will come back to you.

If you would like a dr that you would never see aftdr surgery. Has the nurse practioner see you after surgery or if hou would like a dr that gets angry with you and walks out on you when you tell him your scared or perhaps if you don't mind if after being admittted to the hospital again with an infection near and have to go back to surgery again and DR Frank does it but he never comes into see you after your surgery he is the perfect dr for you.

Dr. Frank was referred by my primary physician. I needed triple bypass surgery. Dr Frank explained the procedure thoroughly and was very reassuring. I am sure the surgery saved my life. Dr. Frank has an excellent bedside manner, is an awesome surgeon, and has an excellent staff of nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and ancillary professionals. Dr. Frank cares about his patients. He even took time from his vacation to call me before my surgery to set up an appointment for me to see him. That was impressive.

Completed all three required surgeries and made sure I and my family were both fine. I would recommend Dr. Frank to anyone considering or needing heart surgery.

Dr. Frank is quiet but thorough in explaining the procedure I am scheduled for. He answered every question and made sure that we did not have more. His staff is excellent and is helping me get all the paperwork completed in a very short time period.

Dr. Frank operated on me for a very serious problem.It was emergency surgery and I had little chance of surviving. He was determined to save my life. After over 10 hours in the operating room I still only had an 8% chance of making it. He would not give up! Somehow he managed to pull me through. Not only is he an amazing surgeon, he has the best bedside manner of any doctor. He takes his time and you can tell he deeply cares for his patients.
