Dr. Frede was born and raised in St. Louis and attended Hazelwood High School. Upon graduating he enrolled at the University of Missouri, St. Louis and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1978 with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry. With this degree he gained acceptance to the University of Missouri Dental School in Kansas City. Dr. Frede graduated with honors in 1982. Upon graduating Dr. Frede went into private practice in the St. Louis area until 1990 when he took a leave of absence to finish his degree in pharmacy. He graduated with Rho Chi honors from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in 1992 and worked as a pharmacist for 8 years in the St. Louis area while practicing dentistry in a part time capacity. In 2000 Dr. Frede returned to dentistry full time and currently practices at Washington Square Dental in Washington, Missouri as well as at the Coleman Dental Clinic in downtown St. Louis. Â
