Dr. Michael Howard Freedland, MD

I had a face, neck, and eyebrow lift procedure performed by Dr. Freedland a month ago. What can I say? On the door of his Bloomfield Hills office, it says that it is a place where medicine meets artistry. It is not an exaggeration! Dr. Freedland is a magician. He sets realistic expectations, but in my case at least, the reality greatly surpasses all expectations. I look totally like myself but at least 10 years younger. My recovery has been amazingly quick as well: some discomfort/pain (discomfort for most people, pain for me as I have a very low pain tolerance level) for about 2-3 days, then totally ok both physically and mentally; went out to run some errands after the first week, had a family outing after the second week (both times wearing dark glasses and a hat though), and was fully presentable and looking gorgeous after the third week. Of course, I am still a bit lumpy, bumpy, tight, and numb, but it is very manageable and doesn't bother me too much, especially if I don't dwell… on it. You just have to be patient and you have to follow all of Dr. Freedland and his office staff's (both Barbara and Stevi are amazing, very helpful and very knowledgeable) recommendations. Most definitely, if you are considering plastic surgery, Dr. Michael Freedland is a doctor to go to! V. S. from West Bloomfield

Dr Freedland is the best!! He is a very talented surgeon! I received excellent care both before and after my surgery! The office staff is absolutely wonderful too!!

I went to 2 other doctors before settling with Dr. Freedland. I was nervous after reading some indifferent reviews online, but I also knew many of my friends had their procedures done with him and they had rave reviews. His entire staff was friendly and helpful. I couldn't be happier with my breast lift. I had many of questions after my surgery and his assistant Stevi answered all of them whether it was e-mail or via phone. I would definitely recommend Dr. Freedland to anyone that is considering cosmetic surgery.

Check his malpractice insurance company first before you proceed with any surgery under him. My wife had surgery back on Nov 2016 and she had complications and he kept delaying things and kept saying just wait a little longer until almost the 2 years passed. When we tried contacting him, he continued delaying it. We filed a claim and we found out by the attorneys that the malpractice company he uses went out of business by the state on Nevada due to insufficient funds to cover their liabilities(lancet Imdemnity Group). If you do use him MAKE sure to ask him for his malpractice policy and check how many settlement was made on his behalf.

I was very nervous about having breast augmentation. Dr. Freedland and his staff were so kind and took their time explaining everything. From pre-op to post op, they were always available to address any concerns I had. I am so happy with my results and I highly recommend Dr. Freedland! Thank you so much!

I went to Dr. Freedland for Lipo and he and his staff were so charming that I went into an agreement immediately, without seeking a second opinion. Sadly, I learned the hard way, that his consultant was only there to take my money as fast a s possible and if you need any followups - forget it. They have forgotten you. Now I live with my right thigh much smaller then my left, and he couldn't care less. I sent my son to him for Lipo, and results are disastrous. And he can't get past the gate keeper to even talk to the Dr. / NO FOLLOWUP AT ALL WITH THIS DR. / I HOPE HE LOSES HIS LICENCES ...YES, he is board certified, so I thought that he was reputable. NO HE IS NOT. LOOK ELSEWHERE PEOPLE. VERY POOR DOCTOR.

I can’t believe Michael Freedland is still blaming his botched surgeries on the patients. He did the same thing to me. He’s very greedy. He’s in it just for the money. Doesn’t give a flying fk about the patient. Cindy, the witch, is still there telling lies along with Satan. Any good reviews you might find are written by the witch and Satan themselves.

Dr. Freedland was very approachable and down to earth. We really enjoyed talking to him at our appointment. He explained the details of surgery, possible risk involved, statistics- very knowledgable. We are so glad we chose Dr. Freedland for my moms facelift- she loves her results. No complications, no problems with the office or hospital- would definitely recommend!

Don't go there for injectables, fillers, etc. Patient pays top dollar for zero results and an incompetent, disrespectful staff. Will tell everyone I know and will never go back. Try to go back and show them their zero results and it's patient's fault, or must wait a month for botox to work, just one excuse after another and more money. Very greedy and definately not service oriented. Probably order their products from third world country.
