Dr. Michael Jeffrey Gallagher, MD

I have been a patient under Dr Gallagers care for years. Its my impression that he only sees the condition, not the overall patient. Ive recently had to deal with BP issues. Doctor put me on a new med, which I could not tolerate at all. Repeated calls to his office went unanswered. So I had to call my GP and explain what was going on. He immediately stopped the med Dr Gallager put me on. Putting me on another which I tolerated much better. Why he didn’t listen, or return calls, dont really care at this point. I have since changed my Cardiologists.

Dr. Gallagher is an amazing doctor that saves lives and brings overall happiness to his patients. He gave me the feeling that the hospital was a big family! Thank you Dr. Gallagher!

I do not recommend Dr. Gallagher. My father was under Dr. Gallaghers care in the ICU at William Beaumont Royal Oak. I got a call from hospital on a Sunday morning that my father was in heart failure. When I arrived at the hospital and was informed of the critical nature of his condition and the fact that there were some life/death decisions that had to be quickly made. When I asked a few questions in order to be able to ascertain what to do, Dr Gallaghers response was that he was not going to explain Cardiology 101 to me. I wouldn't wish this doctor on my worst enemy.
