Dr. Michael Anthony Galletti, DO

I saw Dr. Galleti in the ED at central Harnett hospital. I had a high fever and a horrible headache. He suspected I had meningitis and attempted to do a lumbar puncture. I had 3 prior C sections so I wasn't very nervous as the spinal block procedures are similar to an LP. This turned out to be a HORRIBLE AND EXTREMELY PAINFUL procedure. He stuck me over 20 times trying to get spinal fluid, which he was never able to do. It was a VERY painful experience. I have never had a procedure performed that caused me so much pain. On top of being inept, he was also very arrogant and smug. I still have back and leg pain due to the nerve damage he did to my spine. I have an appointment now to speak with a lawyer about a possible lawsuit against him - and I have NEVER sued anyone in my life. This "doctor" should be avoided at all costs. I was admitted to the hospital and treated for bacterial meningitis. Another doctor did perform a successful LP and it was almost painless. If you have a choice, do… not choose Dr Galetti!!!

This has to be the WORST Dr. in history. Aggorant, inconsiderate and unpleasant. His attitude by far made him to be the biggest jerk. My husband was seen at the hospital in Lillington for migraines. Dr. Galletti just assumed he was there for pain meds or for a "non emergent need". As he quoted to my husband that 27% of Americans just come to the hospital for pain meds or non emergent needs. He did not want to listen to the complaints of my husband, just rush him off the see a neurologists. I can assure you as a concerned wife, I WILL contact the Board of Directors and will be more than happy to file a complaint with Dr. Galletti. He is clearly not someone that needs to be a Doctor. I do NOT reccomend him to anyone...not even my dog!!!

Dr Galleti was the best doctor that iv came across at Sampson Regional Medical Center. He was super sweet as he always is totaly down to earth and far from arrogant or stick up!!! My 7yr old was so scared and nervous and he had us both laughing and comfy. 1st dr iv ever called cool!! My mission tmrw is to see if he is a family drbecause id love to switch.the man is a saint and awesome

My wife went to Sampson Regional Hospital at Clinton NC. She saw Dr. Galleti, her experience with him was terrible. He was very arrogant and hateful. He did not listen or want her to tell him anything. He also thinks every person that comes to the doctor wants drugs. I think he needs to take some time off and find out why he is a doctor. My thought is he is trully in it for the money and not for the care of people. If he can't deal with sick people he needs to get out of the business. we will probably never go back to that hospital again.
