I have a billing dispute with this dentist that remains unresolved. I contacted my insurance company special investigations unit. I filed a claim with the new york state attorney's general office, I filed a claim with the new york state department of education office of professional misconduct. I would never go back

DS Gastaldi and his entire team are absolutely amazing! From the moment you walk through the doors, you are treated like family. Dr. Gastaldi is professional, knowledgeable, caring, and truly takes the time to make sure every patient feels comfortable and well taken care of. His attention to detai and dedication to his patients really stand out The staff is equally incredible - friendly, welcoming, and always making the experience smooth and stress-free. And the front desk team deserves an extra special shout-out because they are beyond awesome! They are organized, helpful, and always greet you with a smile while making scheduling and everything else effortless t's rare to find an office where everyone works together so well and genuinely cares about the people walking through the door. Highly recommend DDS Gastaldi and his outstanding team to anyone looking for top-notch care!

5 Excellent dentist, I’ve been going to him over 30 yrs. I highly recommend him to all my family & friends. He’s caring, thorough & very knowledgeable. The staff is also wonderful. I wouldn’t trust any else except Dr .Gastaldi or one of his colleagues for any dental work.

I suffered with months of pain and discomfort after bridge work and root canal. Trauma, pain, suffering, sleepless nights, missed work. I ended up leaving this office because of the horrible mismanagement of my care. They didn’t know why I was in pain and they thought I had trigeminal neuralgia. Terrible. I seeked a second opinion. New doctors had to perform the bridge and root canal along with another root canal all over again AND root canal surgery (Apicoectomy) to fix this mess he caused me. When I found out what was wrong with me, I called his office and told them. I asked for a call back from him. It took Dr. Gastaldi a week to call me back. I was with all infection in my sinus along with inflamed necrotic dead root nerves for months and he couldn’t find 5 minutes in his day to call me back to discuss. My case was not urgent to him. It was clear he didn’t want to talk to me. When I eventually spoke to him 10 days later, he lied about talking to my root canal specialist. Another… doctor spoke on his behalf. I caught him in a lie on top of this! I got my insurance involved and they found that he was NOT in standard of care. THE WAS THE MOST TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I eventually sat down face to face with Dr. Gastaldi to discuss a refund and he cried to me about a personal dilemma in his life. THAT IS NOT MY PROBLEM! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL! I did get my co pay back. but I am still thousands of dollars out of pocket to fix his mess. Go somewhere else more reputable. Look at reviews first. Waiting room time >45 minutes.

They are horrible!!! Do not go there! I went there to do cleaning. I have never had any issues with my teeth except I would clean them once a year. I needed a cleaning and I went to their office, and ended up with $3500 bill. I had no issues but one of their dentists insisted that I had some horrible problem and I need to go to their specialist. I went to their specialist and she said that the other dentist was wrong and I had perfect teeth - there were no issues. So because it was a snap in their judgment or they just tried to cheat me, my insurance company refused to pay for that specialist visit, so now they are sending me bill to pay for it. I will never pay for it and if needed, I will sue them for malpractice (making up problems where there was none). My attempt to negotiate with them failed. They had very rude people at the reception. They basically told me that if they sent me a bill, I must pay it, and it is the end of the story. Well, I would rather take them to court than… pay this bill.

I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS OFFICE I WAS THERE ON TIME AND WAS THE ONLY PATIENT WAITING, YET A FEW PEOPLE WERE LET IN BEFORE ME EVEN THOUGH I WAS THERE FIRST. I WASN'T GIVEN REASON AS TO WHY I WAS WAITING ALL THAT TIME (MORE THAN AN HOUR) AND WHY PEOPLE WERE GOING AHEAD OF ME. I FELT COMPLETELY IGNORED AND SO I LEFT, ONCE THEY REALIZED I LEFT THEY CALLED TO ASK ME TO COME BACK. THAT NOT BEING ENOUGH THEY CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY TO APOLOGIZE. NEEDLESS TO SAY I WILL NOT RECOMMEND OR RETURN TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE!!!!
