Summary
Having migrated with my nuclear family from New York to the "other coast" and then from Ventura County down to San Diego for college, I have never quite made it back to the East Coast, but I am without regrets! Although from a young age medicine seemed to be an obvious career choice for me, slight detours-including one in the aerospace industry-have proved valuable.
