Dr. Michael Allen Glick, MD

Dr Glick is an exceptional diagnostician. No matter what the issue presented, or how unusual, this doctor knows the best course to take with a patient. My husband and I have been his patients for 15 years and he has kept us on the straight and narrow path to good health. He is serious about our health but very friendly and encouraging at all times. His expertise is remarkable.

I just wish I had seen these reviews before I sent my grandmother to Dr. Glick, who was recommended by one of his colleagues. This man has no respect for the elderly and seems to take pleasure in limiting their rights & privileges. For instance, my GM forgot a couple appointments, as elderly people often do (and that's really on me, as I tried to tell him) but he used this as an excuse to take away her driver's license. He also recommended assisted living placement when she was really still quite capable on her own. As I don't have any experience in the elderly/medical field, I went along with it. I will never forgive myself. I have thought this over many times over the past year and a half, and it still haunts me that she died so unhappily. Because of him.

Dr Glick is rude and unprofessional and worst of all, a terrible doctor. He does not listen to his patients and his response to every problem and symptom is you are just getting old. He missed diagnosing a very serious health problem by not listening to us. Any competent doctor who treats elderly patients should be on the lookout for this symptoms and not just assume they are related to getting old. I do not recommend him at all.

We visited Dr Glick several times. The last time my Mom had an apt on a Friday just not feeling herself at all. She was told to make another apt and he would check her out. ????? I flew into Orlando on that Saturday only to find my my Mom extteamly incohetent and disoriented. Took her to the ER onlybto be told her blood sugar was 1300 and they told me she should be dead. Blood sugar is. Gradual thing and this did not happen over night. The "man" was just tooooooo busy to ever check her blood as she never had been tested before we took her to the ER then Dr Glock told my Dad and I to " put her some place and visit her on Sundays. Yikes. I brought both my parent to NH. To live with me. They both lived another 15 years healthy and happy. What a guy huh???? To make a long story short

My parents were his patients for years. They both died within weeks of being diagnosed with cancer that he should have diagnosed years earlier.

Met him for a minute and could tell he wasn't very pleasant!!

Incompetent physician.

this dr. does not seem 2 understand that bedside caring manner is equally important to his medical expertise. if the patient can hang in there with him as i have for about 6 years now, they might find as i have that both parties can come 2 a better understanding of the needs of the other and both will thrive. he is a good doctor who cares about his patients and yet he needs to learn and express a warmer bedside manner similar to that of his partner doctor in his office. people need kindness and understanding and much less of the sarcastic plaques and notices that put down the patient/customer. a better balance is all that is needed here.

Do not go to this guy, and if you do, you'll quickly find out why.
