Im not going to sit here and say that I think Dr. Goble is a horrible doctor because I don't believe that. There are several things I like about him as a dr and a person, but the experience I have had the past three months or so have been less than the dr and person I first met at physicians after hours. When he tells me that he will do everything he can to help me bc of lack of insurance, I felt a strong trust in someone for the first time in years. Upon return to his primary office I noticed a very strange attitude change. This person I felt I could trust as a professional had pretty much shunned me and tells me he can no longer provide these same services, instead, I should stop taking the medication that has helped me for the first time in years and start taking medication that I have taken in the past and has proven not to work. He also tells me that I need to seek pain management bc he could no longer help me. This same person that first says not to worry I'll do everything… I can to make sure we can get you help... Knowing I don't have insurance and have had to live in misery for several years. Now I walk into his office with a toothache, and he has his receptionist come tell me that he could either let me back to see him for $45.00 and give me antibiotics, or he could just call them in. But she also said that if I wanted to come back and see him that I better not ask him for pain medication bc we've already had this discussion before. Basically trying to make me feel an inch tall in the waiting room! It was very disrespectful, and belittling. Its just hard for me to understand how someone that was so nice and well respected, someone that I could finally confide in and believed would help me with the pain and depression I have lived through now turns to someone that doesn't give a $h!t about morals, or the oath they signed. I thought doctors where there to help the patient, no matter what?A mentally stable person can terminate his life early,if not mentally ill ,but has no say whatsoever in other medical treatment?I guess that all they really care about is there money.The practice of medicine is nowhere close to what it was just a decade or so.These days they will come in and look at you,look at your EENT and listen to your lungs and then they are gone. I guess that's why there are so many "street doctors and pharmacist". But the sure want that 75-100 $ for nothing and if your disabled they charge the government Outrageous prices!! Its no wonder the system is broke.
