Dr. Michael Norman Goertz, MD

Dr. Goertz truly listened to what I was saying, was empathetic and understanding. He was compassionate about my reduced life style and told me that his job was to get me back to being able to do all the things I had done before the back problems. He explained things well in terms I could understand. he spent quite a bit of time going over options. He suggested trying some medication as a first step since I had tried physical therapy and chiropractic options previously which hadn't reduced the pain. A follow up is scheduled for a month from my first visit.

This doctor appointment was truly horrible. He didn't listen and was completely condescending. He completely ignored my complaints of pain and offered no solutions. Will definitely not be returning. Also took forever to even get the appointment.

Prescribed pills for pain. Ignored pain level. Did not seem to care and very difficult to get in for appts. Overall poor experience with Health Partners Spine Specialty Clinic.

I went in for pain management and was not told therapy, and nerve pills would work. i called back with pain that got worse, and was denied a better pain pill. Are all doctors doing this?
