Dr. Michael L Greising

I am not a patient of Dr. Greising's and therefore have not been under his care; though he is affiliated with the same practice as my PCP. I dealt directly with Dr. Greising when I called the office to speak to the on-call physician to discuss a health concern I was experiencing. After waiting nearly four hours, calling two times, he finally returned my call. Immediately, it was apparent that he did not want to talk to me, had no interest in being on the phone and was ready to move on. His "why are you calling" attitude instantly made me feel uncomfortable and almost afraid to tell him my concerns. As I stumbled through my explanation of what was going on - I say "stumbled" because he made me feel rushed and very inferior - he made no attempt to have any sort of productive conversation with me. He told me, flatly, "I can't diagnose you through the phone; call back during office hours and make an appointment." While that is very true, I explained that I wasn't seeking a diagnosis;… perhaps some initial feedback or advice. Don't expect either from Dr. Greising. I was aware that only my own physician can fully answer my questions and determine next steps. But my physician told me to call if certain symptoms arrived and, since they arrived, I called. Apologies, Dr. Greising, for following instructions. Overall, he was extremely rude, unprofessional and woefully careless. I was appalled at his attitude and received absolutely nothing from him or the phone call. Coming from a family with many medical professionals, I fully understand their time is precious and their days are busy. However, when you're the on-call physician, it IS part of your day's responsibilities to deal with these calls and situations. Unshockingly, I do not recommend Dr. Mike Greising.

Great doctor. Been with em fer years

When I made an appointment, I specifically said it was for my son. When we got there, two weeks later, they told me this doctor does not see anyone under 18. No apology. They admitted that it was their mistake, but they made no effort to help me see any doctor in the practice -- without waiting another two weeks. We ended up going elsewhere.

Seems to take a lackadaisacal attitude regarding my medical problems. I don't believe he's thorough with his exams. I have to wait a long time before I find out the results of my tests making it necessary to call the office to ask for them. WE hired him to work for US. I believe he should make sure his staff informs him when the test results have been returned from the lab and that the patient is informed of the result in a timely manner.
