Dr. Michael Gross, MD

I saw Dr. Gross for years, I think roughly five. As others have stated the wait times and scheduling appointments can be horrendous. Things I've had time to consider while waiting for my appointment; Sometimes you're the person getting an incredibly thorough appointment, because you need it, and as a consequence someone(s) else is in the waiting room wondering what's taking so long. Over the years I realized that someone can be you, on either side of the door, as you wait. It's just him in there, there's no one else to balance the load. I've also seen him discourage medication representatives like a wild lion defending his food from hyena's (in this case his patients). He won't prescribe you medication for a bonus, or a corporate investment. Too many pluses to concern yourself with the wait times. After all these years, I'd say it's your best choice of you need a caring, thorough, time unconscious Dr.

Wonderful doctor! Dr. Gross shows commitment to the patients' well-being far above most other doctors that I have encountered. His evaluation of dilemmas shows great insight. He discusses matters in depth, so that both he and his patient can accurately understand all the ramifications of the problems that the patient is encountering.Believe me, his care is well worth any time spent in the waiting room.

Dr. Gross is professional and knowledgeable. However, it is difficult to schedule appts. because his secretary only works partial days. The worst thing is the waiting time. The other day I waited 1-1/2 hrs. to see him. Most other times, the wait has been about an hour.

Getting an appointment is easy, and his front desk people (e.g.,Mary Ann) are very friendly and professional, and they return calls promptly. Sometimes there may be quite a wait to see Dr. Gross, but it will be worth it because of his manner and skill. He will take the time to talk to you, and has a great sense of humor, which can be appreciated in times of stress.
