Dr. Michael Alan Grossman, MD

There is NO better Internist in the East Alabama / West Georgia area than Dr. Grossman. He is able to diagnose and treat his patients with ease as he has a long history of experience and expertise. While it may take a little longer to see him, it is well worth the time. He is caring, empathetic and through. I have and would continue to highly recommend him to friends and family!!!!

This Doctor is forgetfull will put things on your record not related to you! The office is mismanaged and will take you alot of calls to get a referall of your drugs refilled !!! I WOULD NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR !!!!!

Dr. Grossman was my father's doctor and kept him as well as could be expected given his many problems. After moving my dad to another state the doctors there never did get him straightened out. He has been my doctor for many years now and is very professional, yet compassionate. He has ot make rounds at the hospital before he comes to the office so delays are expected. After all, people are in the hospital for a reason. If waiting bothers you, take a book and read, I do.

I consider Dr. Grossman a very knowledgeable Dr. I consider him the best in his field of expertise in this area. He is diligent to diagnose and treat your illness. I have complete confidence in most all of his decesion. I used Dr. Grossman for 15 years and then left due to a disagreement he and I had. I used several other Dr.s, in the Valley and Opelika, Al., for 10 years. I,then returned to Dr. Grossman, because of the respect and confidence I have in his judgement. I have now been under his practice for three years and he has quickly diagnosed and fixed several issues. The new office staff seems to be more organized than the previous staff. The change I would like to see with Dr.Grossman, is quality time with his full attention during each visit.

The waiting time was horrendous, the Dr. was very late and offered no apology for this delay. The Dr. didn't really listen to what I had to say about my illness. He doesn't mind prescribing the stronger medications that might be need by some of his more unhealthy patients, however, I did hear one conversation through the wall in the room next to me. The Dr. had give the patient 10mg Hydrocodone to be taken for breakout pain. These pills were prescribed in conjunctions with the Duragesic Patch. That patient wasn't happy as she wanted 3 7.5mg hydrocodones per day with no Duragesic patch as oppopesed 2 10mg Hydrocodones pills a day in concert with the durgesic patch. I found this to be odd.
