Dr. Michael Ira Gruenebaum, MD

I don't even know where to start. My visit with this doctor was the worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. My reason for the visit was a simple annual physical. My previous doctor retired so I was referred to Dr. Gruenebaum. This man came in to my appointment and never stopped insulting me. I at no point was able to even answer the questions he was asking me because he kept talking over me every time I even attempted to respond. He was the most obnoxious Dr I've ever met. He took two personal phone calls during my appt and even had the audacity to call me a liar when I said my father was in good health. (One of very few responses I was able to make to his questions.) I have thick skin and respond well to criticism but I was so insulted by this guy that I was was about to lose it during my time with him. The experience was so bad that I left without even going to the lab to give blood etc to obtain lab results. I'll never allow this man to "care for me" ever again. I hope that… no one else does either. The entire staff at Encompass Medical Group were all in terrible spirit and you could tell no one wanted to be there. I know for a fact that Dr. Gruenebaum had to be a direct contributor to this. Don't go see this clown.

I have been seeing dr. G for several years and noticed that he's been overbilling me and I found online in my medical records that he had written a false diagnosis I have made several complaints and there was no resolution.

Gave me blood pressure medication that discolored my face when exposed to the sun, but did't warn me. When I asked, switched me to a new medication. I asked, will my face go back to normal? He said " I dunno". (It hasn't) Made fun of a missing molar I had pulled 20 years ago. Not a good experience in my opinion.

Very good doctor. Some of the lab staff, i.e. the sonograph guy could work a bit on remembering that they are working on real people and not just a "patients".
