Dr. Gu received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from New York University College of Arts & Science and a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Columbia University College of Dentistry & Oral Surgery. He then completed a year of Oral Surgery Internship at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center. He completed his Residency in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Residency at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center and also included rotations through The Manhattan VA Medical Center, New York University Medical Center's Tisch Hospital, The New York Eye and Ear Infirmay and The Hospital for Joint Diseases.
Dr. Gu has had extensive training in the full scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery including management of trauma (facial hard and soft tissue), pathology (resection and reconstruction), surgical endodontics & radicular surgery, correction of skeletofacial and dento-skeletofacial anomolies & deformities, dental implant surgery & rehabilitation, dentoalveolar surgery under local …anesthesia or intravenous sedation.
He speaks fluent Mandarin.
