Seeing Dr. Gunson was easily the best decision of my life. He and his staff were friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. I had too and bottom jaw surgery. There were no complications and the recovery was better than I expected. It’s been 16 years, and I’m forever grateful to Dr. Gunson for everything he did for me.

While out of town I had a traumatic accident and had reconstructive surgery. However, I wanted to make sure that everything would go back to normal and heal properly so I consulted with Dr. Gunson. The technology he employed is unparalleled and he was extremely easy to work with. He made sure that my jaw lined up after surgery and determined I would need braces to help it heal in the right place. This is something that was overlooked by other doctors so I am glad I consulted with him. It has been a few years since the accident now and everything is back to normal!

Even though it has been years since my surgery, I am grateful that I had my corrective jaw surgery with Arnett-Gunson. Aside from fixing my open bite and gaining better facial balance, I no longer have sleep apnea! Yeah! Anyone else who suffers from sleep apnea understands the fatigue, depression and mental fogginess. My blood pressure is lower too! If you need surgery, PLEASE consider seeing Dr. Gunson. Dr. Michael J Gunson is a brilliant surgeon. I interviewed several surgeons when I was looking into getting jaw surgery for my TMJ and once I met Dr. Gunson, I knew I needed to look no further. The amount of time he spent with me going over my case was nothing short of amazing. I never knew medical care and attention could be so thorough. All of the staff are knowledgeable and caring. Facing jaw surgery is pretty scary but I knew I was in good hands (the absolute greatest) with Dr. Gunson and his staff. I am more than a year and a half post-op and I could not be more happy with my results. I never imagined I could live pain free and now I do! I'm currently 6 months post op of my double jaw surgery with Dr. Gunson. Prior to surgery, I had headaches almost daily and pain in my jaw muscles from my bite not fitting together properly. My post surgical bite has corrected those issues and I now have zero pain in my faces/head! I also feel beautiful, which is something I knew I would not need to be concerned about with how much Dr. Gunson prioritizes facial balance and aesthetics. I'm so thankful for the post surgical care I have received and the attention to detail Dr. Gunson puts into each surgery and post op patient. HIGHLY recommend this office!

When it comes to getting a surgeon for my own son I want the best in the world. I am so glad we found Dr. Gunson, who is hands down the most caring and skillful surgeon. The recovery was not easy, and the first week was probably the hardest, but Dr. Gunson was available to answer questions and help us out. My son is almost 2 years post-op and looks amazing. He breathes better too, which is most important. I also really love the staff.
