I would give him a negative star review. Not only was he dismissive of my concerns and my child's considerable pain while at UCD, but he effectively eliminated the possibility of obtaining my son's diagnosis by ostensibly performing the procedure I advocated, but doing it incompletely because he believed he knew better, that he thought my son had gastric reflux. Had he done the procedure completely, he would have found an intestinal malrotation, volvulus, and intestines wrapped around the main arterial blood supply. The pain my son lived with throughout his young life until a wonderful ER doctor at Sutter diagnosed him was excruciating and life altering for him and our family. By the grace of God, my son survived long enough for that to happen. It would have been much safer for my son to have the life-altering surgery as an infant, as almost all do. Thankfully and miraculously, he lived through it with skilled surgeons at Sutter.

does not respect parent wishes and cultural differences. puts his own agenda above what is proven to help the child become healthier and stronger. do not recommend
