Dr. Hakim is a very careing individual who gives more time with his patients than most Dr.s do. If he dosent have the facts on hand he will get them for you. I find him to be very knowledgeable and willing to listen. That in itself gives him my vote.

From his numerous areas of specific training and expertise, to his engaging and personable bedside manner, Dr. Hakim shows how much he actually cares for every one of his patients. In a day and age of "fast food" medicine absent any vestige of the once sacrosanct "Hippocratic Oath," Dr. Hakim is a refreshing return to the actual meaning of the term "family doctor." A true gem worthy of appreciation.

I am very shy and uncomfortable with doctors and have always disliked Male doctors, in my experience they always seem insensitive to females needs. I was referred to him after having my female doctor for over the past 10 years and said why not . . . He has literally changed my mind about the male doctors, I actually do not mind going to the doctors now. I know he is going to listen to me and do everything he can to help me out.Definately sensitive to female needs and listens and reacts accordingly.
