Your life depends on finding a competent, truly caring doctor who has morals and values and will help you to survive. This is not the one for you. He cares about making as much money as possible, and giving you whatever treatment he feels will accomplish that. You cannot believe Dr. Hanus. It is too late for me and others, but I hope you listen and find someone else. He’s manipulative, sweet and caring acting, but he is not at all interested in you as he worked with a radiation machine that was broken for years, sending radiation to the wrong parts of patients, burning them in the wrong places, knew this for years, yet let people think the machine had been fixed. He did not care that his patients weren’t getting the radiation they needed where they needed it. Please, for yourself believe another cancer patient and do not go to him.

I was asked for "estimated amounts due after insurance." I provided two months' worth. Despite not having radiation at all in the second month (the patient died--that's another story), they refused to refund that month's estimated payment. They said, "This is how it's going to work. You will not receive a dime back until we are paid what we are due from your insurance." I protested on my credit card. Then they lied and said I had not canceled an appointment and were therefore entitled to keep my money.

I found Dr. Hanus to be one of the few doctors who has excellent communication skills, takes the time to explain your diagnosis, and review the ramifications of your test results. We are fortunate to have a physician of his caliber in Naples.

In 2014, Dr. Hanus administered low-dose radiation to my lower abdomen to treat suspected lymphonic cancer. I have had no symptoms since, and a clean bill of health from Dr. Rubin. It was not only a great medical experience, but Dr. Hanus is a personable man, who appreciated me as a male human being. Total recommendation!

I received radiation therapy from Dr. Hanus 5 years ago. I had a very rare cancer that most doctors in Naples had never even heard of, but Dr. Hanus was extremely knowledgable and made me feel 100% confident in the course of treatment. I found him, and his staff, to be very caring and compassionate at all times.

Arrogant and wants the money more than what is best for your health. Plays mind games to confuse patient into giving in to more radiation than needed or necessary. Untrustworthy. Run.

The North Naples radiation machine is frequently broken and they don’t know it until it burns someone in the wrong area. Some of the staff is careless about giving you the correct amount of radiation. Do not see this Dr. for your own sake.

Dr. Hanus is a great doctor, he explains everything to you about your procedure. In my case Breast Cancer Radiation. I was scared to death about this disease and how to cope with it. Dr. Hanus spends a lot of time with you and is very professional and caring. His nurse Jody is great to. Not that I want to come here every day for 5 weeks, but this is what I have to do, the Bonita Springs office is a very friendly place, the staff is great. I would defiantly recommend Dr. Hanus to anybody who needs this kind of treatment, hes a gem.

Recurrent cancer after 24 years. First time with radiation. Dr. Hanus answered all my questions and made me feel like I was not just a number and gave me hope. He trained at MD Anderson which also gave me confidence in his ability to help me.
