Dr. Harlander-Locke is Board Certified in Anesthesiology and has completed fellowship training in Interventional Pain Medicine. After finishing his undergraduate degree in Chemistry at the University of San Diego, he traveled north to Los Angeles and obtained his Master of Public Health degree from the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Afterwards, he attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing his internship and residency in Anesthesiology at the Medical College of Georgia. During his final year of residency, he served as Anesthesia Chief Resident. Dr. Harlander-Locke then moved to Colorado to complete his Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Colorado.
Dr. Harlander-Locke’s fascination with pain began while working with patients in the operating room where he gained experience and saw first-hand the profound impact that pain can have on our mood, quality of life, and overall function.
