Dr. Michael Edward Harned, MD

Dr. Harned has no bedside manner and not sure why he is in pain management as he does not care about anything except making your life as difficult as possible. The prior chief was a great doctor who was there for his patients 24/7. Harned is collecting a check, that is all.

If this is the same Dr Harned that treated me several years ago st another clinic, I find a few of these accusations bizzare , I mean I'm not saying ppl havent had a bad experience but the only issue I had was he is a stickliar about weight and I belive and after acouple of visits with me he never said another word but I think a couple of my doctors consulted with him. He was always decent to me. Dr Harned if you read these reports, you may or may not know who I am but I want you to know, I did loose a lot of that weight.

He doesn't deserve a star. I would'nt recommend anyone. He will fat shame you! He didnt help me with my pain. He shows no compassion. He was more concern about my weight than my pain. He also told me to go back to a doctor I seen in the past. Just a nasty person.

Dr. Harned is a monster! He tried to force my husband into a brutal back surgery that three other noted neurosurgeons said no to and offered my husband a injection and stated the injection would give him a reaction which he would have to sweat out as there was no treatment for it! When my husband said no he screamed screw you! at the top of his lungs twice and stormed out while leaving his so shocked nurse practitioner that her mouth gaped open to deal with us! She was sweet but the office staff were horrible and the front desk receptionist smirked and laughed at us as we left! We have since found a better doctor as Dr. Harned showed zero compassion and professionalism! He needs to have his license revoked, shouldn't be practicing and I wouldn't send my goldfish to him let alone another human being!!! Please investigate him!

After reading some of the reviews on here I considered cancelling my appointment. Glad I didn't, met with Dr Harned and told him I needed to eventually have a total knee done, but due to work I just can't do it right now. I explained that within 6-8 months I hoped to be able to have the surgery but I have a lot of pain that keeps me from being able to do everyday things. He explained a few options that were available and he and I decided the best treatment that was appropriate for me. I can't praise this team enough! Not once have I felt treated badly or not been listened to. They are absolutely one of the best group of physicians I have come across. If you have a legitimate pain need I highly recommend this group. However, if you are only looking for pain meds, I wouldn't waste yours or their time. They are professionals and they will know if you are only seeking drugs and you will be disappointed. If you truly have a diagnosed condition that causes pain, Please do not pay attention… the reviews, they will help you and treat you with kindness and compassion. I've certainly been treated like that in my appointments.

The most humiliating, disrespectful doctor I have ever seen. I was called every name relating to drug seekers you can imagine. He had 2 of my MRIs, and literally said the surgeons were wrong and he would not under any circumstances give me pain medication. His answer was Cymbalta, which is absolutely NOT a drug indicated for use with herniated discs and spinal stenosis. He said if I didn't want it, to leave and not to bother to come back. IMO he's a total joke and waste of flesh who could care less about helping those of us in such severe pain we actually went to him as a last resort. As long as he's lining his pockets he has no worries about having a conscious. You'd be better off throwing yourself off a bridge than wasting you time & $$ with him. Can't wait til karma comes full circle for everything he's done to make our lives even MORE unbearable.

Dr Harned went against what my 3 MRIs have shown and other doctors have said. He will not help your pain, and I thought I was making the right choice by seeing him and I was completely wrong.

Dr. Harned doesn't listen at all I was under his care for my back injury and while under his care quickly went down hill due to pain and was barely able to get out of bed. He will not listen to what you have to tell him and he needs to realize not all of us are dopers and we are there for pain care. He is suppose to be a pain doctor but he doesn't intervene or manage it at all. Again like the other posts say, if you're in pain do not go to this doctor.

He was very rude and treats every patient as if they are there for drugs and not medication. I wouldn't let him treat me dog!!
