Dr. Michael Joseph Heard, MD

Dr. Heard was my physician for five years. He properly diagnosed me with PCOS but ignored my glaring symptoms of Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and Fibroids. He demanded I come see him four times per year and get blood draws four times per year. Because of him, my veins in my arms collapsed and they can no longer draw blood the normal way on me any more. He insulted me when I asked him about my other symptoms and told me I needed to go to a psychiatrist. What I needed was a new doctor. My new (female) doctor took my complaints seriously, did surgery, and correctly diagnosed me. I am thankful to no longer be Dr. Heard’s patient.

Dr. Heard diagnosed me correctly with PCOS, but I continued to have symptoms of extreme pain and heavy bleeding. When he refused to listen to me about continued pain, I switched gynecologists. My new gynecologist agreed to do surgery and figured out that I had both Endometriosis (approaching end stage) and Adenomyosis, as well as endometrial fibroids and polyps. I was in excruciating pain and yet Dr. Heard was not willing to do exploratory surgery to determine what was causing my pain! I am so thankful I got a new gynecologist! I had a hysterectomy and got my life back!

The entire staff at Dr. Heard's office is beyond friendly and helpful. I can't say enough nice things about Dr Heard and his entire office staff.

Great Doctor he helped me and my husband conceive our first child. Forever grateful for his help. His staff is great they always take your calls, emails at any time. I saw Dr. Heard at his 1315 St. Joseph Parkway, Suite 1305 location. I recently saw this provider and think he is the absolutely best in Houston Texas in the field of reproductive endocrinology. I was impressed wiith his office staff and bedside manner. He just moved into a new office and it was very nice. The floor was amazing. All the services including the pricing was very competitive and I am planning to proceed with treatment in the future. I highly recommend this provider to anyone trying to conceive who has been trying for a long time and has not been successful elsewhere. Several of my friends have seen Dr. Heard and are currently pregnant. I really think Dr. Heard's practice is one of the best kept secrets in town. He has seen celebrities and elite athletes including other professionals. I consider his the doctors doctor and I am very easy to criticize. My impression was amazing and I had no reservations about proceeding with my treatments with full… confidence in Dr. Heard and his staff. His office manager Jodi was extremely compassionate and kind and helped my with all of my financial questions, it was really a good experience.

I was rushed and felt like a dollar sign. His office manager tried to help the situation but I need a more complete approach to my care. The office looks unsanitary. I found another specialist in not too far away.

I completely agree with previous patients. If you are serious about getting pregnant stay AWAY from Dr. Heard. Both my husband and I are professionals and made the time to meet with him as we are both older and very serious about getting pregnant. He basically rushed us in the appointment and his office was only concerned about form of payment. His staff is rude and his office is not very professional appearing and frankly unclean. We are going elsewhere for infertility care.
